Giveaway Picker runs entirely inside your web browser. The comments you paste, upload or import, the rules you set, the seed, the verification hash, the winners and the certificate image are processed in your browser's memory and never transmitted to our servers. There is no upload endpoint and no server-side draw.
We use localStorage to remember your participant list, rules, draw settings, the last result, certificate options, the theme and, if you purchase Giveaway Picker Pro, your license status and key plus your draw history (last 20 draws). An Instagram access token is kept in memory only and discarded when the tab closes, unless you explicitly tick "Remember the token on this device", in which case it is stored in localStorage until you untick the option. All of this stays on your device and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
When you use the Instagram import, your browser sends requests directly to Meta's Graph API (graph.facebook.com) with the access token you provide, to list your connected Instagram accounts, find the post and read its comments. We never see the token or the comments; the data flows between your browser and Meta only, under Meta's privacy policy and platform terms. You are responsible for using the imported comments in accordance with Instagram's terms and applicable law.
If enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the tool is used (page views, which features are used, approximate region). Analytics never receives participant names, comments or results. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies for this purpose. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking analytics scripts.
Giveaway Picker may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to keep the tool free. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA and UK will be asked for consent where required.
Giveaway Picker Pro purchases are handled by a third-party payment processor (such as Mercado Pago, Lemon Squeezy or Stripe). We do not see or store your card details. When you enter a license key, the key and a device label are sent to the license service to confirm it is valid; no participant data is included. The processor's own privacy policy applies to the checkout and license check.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log standard request data (IP address, user agent). No other third-party scripts are loaded unless analytics or advertising are enabled.
Giveaway Picker is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
